Awesome! I really enjoyed watching this video. It's nice to see someone taking such good care of animals so often abused. That's why I ignore people who tell me I feed the birds too many things or things that are too expensive. Lots of parakeets and cockatiels live short lives in tiny cages with nothing to eat but poor quality seeds.

How detailed are your records? What inspired you to learn more about hermit crab care?

I have a file where I keep track of each crab's name, species, gender, adoption date, shells worn, molts, and any issues they might have.

I had a couple hermit crabs when I was growing up that weren't properly cared for. Before I got my first crab this time I did a lot of research so I would be fully prepared to offer them a good home.
