I recently took this picture of baby Quito riding Bali. I think it's the best picture ever.
Quito is an Ecuadorian hermit crab. He was a micro when I got him but after several great molts he has graduated to a tiny size. He's always busy and trundles around the crabitat as if on very important crabby business.
Bali is a large Indonesian hermit crab and has the oversized big pincher typical of her species. She can sometimes be a jerk to the other crabs but that's also pretty typical of her species. She's a good eater and likes to bathe in both the fresh and salt water pools. She often hangs around with the other Indo crabs, Java and Merah.

Haha that is so funny! I zoomed in and Quito looks like the evil manipulator while Bali has a "help me!" look. Are Bali's eyes lopsided or can she move them around at will?
Do you have all of your hermit crabs in the same enclosure? How many do you have?
I have all my hermit crabs together in one 90 gallon aquarium. I have 35 crabs ranging from tiny guys all the way up to jumbo.
Have you already posted a picture of the 90 gallon aquarium? How big is the biggest hermit crab? Do they all have names?
I have posted pictures of the 90 gallon crabitat before. I also just posted a YouTube video I made of how it looked back in 2009.
My largest crab is named Fiddle and he's about the size of a baseball. All of my crabs have names and I can recognize them on sight. I keep detailed records on them all.
