New Additions
Calypso, Clancy ,and Clementine joined the family two weeks ago. They're gorgeous strawberry hermit crabs but, unfortunately, they came infested with mites. They had to spend their first week and half here in a sterile 10 gallon isolation tank being treated for the mites. Just a couple days ago they got the "all clear" to move into the community tank.

Wow they are really beautiful! I love the red color! It's a shame they were so badly infected. Where did you get them from? People are so mean to hermit crabs and seem to think they don't have feelings. I really like their red color! It's very cool. Do you have other red ones as well? I still have that picture of Quito and Bali saved on my desktop!
I got these strawberry crabs from an online vendor. I do have other strawberry hermit crabs but they're smaller and don't have the really gorgeous dark coloring yet.
